Slushies

Fill your blender to 16oz with ice. Add 4oz of syrup (use more or less to suit your taste) and 2oz of water. The water helps crush the ice cubes. Blend till smooth. You may need to remove the container and shake it once or twice during blending so the ice drops to the bottom and gets thoroughly crushed. (This is never a problem if you use our frozen drink machine.) Makes approximately 12oz. Use any flavor or mix & match for an endless variety of tastes.

Smoothies

Basic Smoothie

  • 2 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3oz flavored syrup of your choice
  • Put all in blender and blend till smooth.
  • Makes about 16oz.

    Fruit Smoothie

  • 2 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3oz flavored syrup of your choice
  • 1 cup cut up fruit of your choice
  • Put all in blender and blend till smooth.
  • Makes about 16oz. Use any fruit in season and add a flavored syrup for a real exotic taste. Good combinations include: any fruit with the same flavored syrup for a real taste blast, bananas with strawberry, cherry or chocolate flavoring, peaches with raspberry syrup.

    Ice Cream or Yogurt Smoothie

  • 2 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3oz flavored syrup of your choice
  • a large scoop of ice cream or an 8oz cup of yogurt
  • Put all in blender and blend till smooth.
  • Makes about 20oz. Vanilla ice cream or vanilla yogurt work great with any flavored syrup. There is no need to buy gourmet ice cream. An inexpensive vanilla ice cream works fine with the flavored syrup. The result is a heavenly treat. Use flavored ice cream or fruit yogurt with a complimentary syrup. Cut up fruit can also be added. Like I said, the combinations are endless, and with flavored syrups these are better than milk shakes.

    Sip A Split

Combine chocolate syrup, milk, a banana and strawberries in a blender for a "lickety split" banana split in a glass.

    Strawberry Banana

  • 1/3 cup sliced bananas
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk Just throw everything in the Blender Express and mix. Enjoy! (1 serving)

    Berry Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup soft tofu
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. sugar substitute Place all ingredients in the blender, then add ice until contents reach the max fill line. Mix and enjoy! (1 serving)

    Peach Spritzer

  • 1 cup no-sugar-added peach seltzer
  • 1 Tbsp. of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 pouch (.035-ounce) of sugar substitute
  • 1 cup of peach slices Combine seltzer, orange juice, sugar substitute and peach slices in blender. Blend until smooth. (1 serving)

    • Syrup amounts in the recipes are guidelines. Adjust the amount of syrup to suit your taste.
    • Please use caution when mixing syrups. Syrup may stain skin and fabric.
    • One tablespoon equals 1/2 fluid ounce.
    • Two tablespoons = 1oz.
    • One quarter cup = 2oz.
