Listed below are some assorted recipes from iSi. See the links at the bottom of the page for more great iSi cream whipper recipes.

The following recipes are for 1 pint cream whippers. If you cut the recipe in half, it should be suitable for 1/2 pint whippers. Doubling the recipe should work for 1 quart whippers. You may need to experiment a little.

ASSORTED RECIPES

Mocha Cream

1/3 cup Whole Milk
3 Tbs. Heavy Cream
1 Tbs. Cocoa Powder
1 Tbs. Powdered Sugar
1/2 tsp. Instant Coffee
1/4 tsp. Vanilla
1 iSi creamer charger

Place all ingredients in iSi canister, mix well. Place cover on cream whipper and shake vigorously. Proceed according to Operating Instructions. Serve immediately.

Vanilla Yogurt Cream

1/2 cup Vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup Heavy Cream
1 Tbs. Powdered Sugar
1 iSi creamer charger

Place all ingredients in iSi canister, mix well. Place cover on cream whipper and shake vigorously. Proceed according to Operating Instructions. Serve immediately for best results, however, this dessert can be made ahead of time and held in the refrigerator. This recipe can be doubled.

Chocolate Mousse

1 cup (250 ml) Heavy Cream
1 tsp. Instant Coffee
5 Tbs. Instant Cocoa
1-2 Tbs. Cognac
Powdered sugar as desired
1 iSi creamer charger

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into iSi canister. Insert an iSi creamer charger and shake vigorously 8-10 times. Serve well chilled.

Bacardi-Cream

1 Egg
1/2 cup (125ml) Heavy Cream
1-2 Tbs. Bacardi
Powdered Sugar
1 iSi creamer charger

Dissolve powdered sugar with the egg, cream and rum and pour into the iSi canister. Insert an iSi creamer charger and shake vigorously a few times.

Tiramisu

2 Egg Yolks
2/3 cup (150ml) Heavy Cream
2 Tbs. Mascarpone
3 Tbs. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Amaretto
Lady fingers, strong coffee, powdered cocoa
1 iSi creamer charger

Combine egg yolks, cream, Mascarpone, powdered sugar and Amaretto in the iSi canister and mix well. Insert an iSi creamer charger and shake vigorously 5-6 times. Sprinkle lady Fingers with coffee. Fill serving dish with alternate layers of lady fingers and cream mixture. Dust with powdered cocoa.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Make sure that gasket is firmly in place on the underside of head. Screw the head evenly and firmly onto the bottle. Do not cross thread!
  • Insert cream charger (N2O) into the charger holder.
  • Twist charger holder onto head until gas is released. A slight hissing sound will be heard. Use only one charger per filling.
  • Shake cream whipper briskly approximately 3 times. Now, unscrew and remove the charger holder, discard used charger, and place cap on cream whipper.

    Note:

  • It is essential to hold bottle vertically when dispensing, nozzle downwards, as otherwise gas would escape and a proportionate amount of whipped cream or dessert would not be released.
  • Do not use ingredients with seeds or pulp. Seeds and pulp will clog the dispenser.
  • Cream will stay fresh in the cream whipper for up to 14 days if stored in the refrigerator.
  • Sugar can be replaced with the appropriate amount of powdered artificial sweetener in all recipes if you prefer.
