    I purchased this item after throwing away my husband favorite ice cream scoop.I tried to buy another one like his first one but the company didnt make them anymore. My husband had fallen off a ladder and had to have a plate with screws put in his waist and has had a hard time using it but now all is well as the new scoop compares great to the old one. I would recommend this scoop to anyone especially with a waist or hand problem.
